Benefit Countdown To Love Advent Calendar

Hi everyone! I hope you have all had a great Christmas and New Years and that you have found some time to relax and recharge yourself for 2014!

If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen my posts on Benefit's Advent Calendar-The Countdown To Love. I ordered this online as an early Christmas present and loved opening all the little windows (I restrained myself and only opened one window a day!). I really wish more companies would bring their beauty advent calendars to Australia as they are a great way to try their products out and they are also usually a great bargain as you will see below.

I payed about $70 for mine but know that in Australia they were retailing for about $100. I have specified how much each deluxe sample would cost in Australia so you can see what a great item this was!

Also included were two simple bracelets and a cute hair pin. As you can see I received a great range of Benefit products and some of the deluxe samples are worth quite a bit! What's your favourite Benefit product?

  1. I love that you've approximated the total value of products. Great post!
Did you buy the calendar off the Benefit website?

    1. Thankyou xofatima :) once I started figuring out how much some of the samples were I was amazed at how much some were! I purchased mine is Sephora and used a mail forwarding service as I was buying a number of things at the time (so I'm shattered that Sephora doesn't allow that anymore!)

  2. WOW!!! I'm soooo jealous! I follow you on instagram and I really enjoyed looking at what you got each day. I'd never seen a beauty advent calender before so it was a lot of fun to see what you got. This calender is seriously good value for money! I'd love to know where you got it from so I can hint at my partner a little later in the year what I'd like as an early xmas prezzy ;)

    1. Thanks Gemma! I bought mine online off Sephora but I know Myer had a few available at each store too. I saw a Ciate advent calendar at Mecca Cosmetica so they may have similar ones next year. I think the Benefit one was also available from Benefit's website too.

I also really like the Ciate advent calendar! Totally cute!
I think more companies should have them, and more available in Australia at a reasonable price!

    1. I was considering the Ciate one too but decided one was enough! Ciate also had some cute Christmas decorations containing products so if they have them next year I may try them. I know Yankee Candle had one in America and I think there were a good range of ones in the UK too-so much more fun than the chocolate version (although chocolate is always good).

    1. I was pretty happy with it my purchase but I did need to exercise self restraint to not open them all at once! I saw Ciate had an advent calendar too so hopefully more brands bring them out this year!
